title: Allied Moulded Industrial Blog | Wattz the Word from Allied Moulded
description: "Meet Wattz ⚡ – Allied Moulded’s Electrifying Enclosure Expert\nPart industrial powerhouse, part community cheerleader, and 100% built from the toughest enclosures around—Wattz is the spark behind Allied Moulded’s Industrial Products Blog. Forged from the same rugged materials that have defined Allied Moulded enclosures since 1988 (and proudly available online since 2019), Wattz lives and breathes protection, performance, and a passion for doing things the right way.\nWattz isn’t your average mascot—this larger-than-life character is on a mission to energize the industry with knowledge that matters. From breaking down why material selection can make or break an application, to shedding light on how environmental conditions impact enclosure performance, Wattz delivers insights with a jolt of personality.\nWhether it’s fiberglass vs. polycarbonate, corrosion resistance in harsh environments, or meeting (and exceeding) NEMA standards, Wattz is here to make sure customers, engineers, and contractors stay informed, safe, and ahead of the curve.\nWhen Wattz isn’t powering up the blog, you’ll find them championing workplace safety, supporting community initiatives, and raising the bar for quality—because “good enough” just doesn’t conduct.\nPlug into Wattz’s world and discover why the right enclosure isn’t just a box—it’s the backbone of protection."
